1. Luggage stands for passenger's personal things packed in bags or suitcases. All the other things are considered as cargo and are carried for surcharge. 2. 2 items of hand portable luggage or one item of luggage equipped with special wheels are transported free of charge with the total weight not exceeding 30 kg/ 65lb (surcharge for additional weight is LVL 3/ EUR 5 or GBP 5). Hand luggage (1 unit) for the use on the board is also free of charge if not exceeding 5 kg/ 10lb and size 60Ч40Ч20 cm/ 25Ч15Ч10in, as well as collapsible wheelchair if it belongs to the passenger with special needs. 3. The surcharge for every additional item of luggage or cargo is LVL 3/EUR 5 or GBP 5 of no more than 15 kg/33lb per item and the size not exceeding 0,25 m3 (100x50x50 cm/ 40x20x20in).
4. Cargo and additional luggage are accepted only if there is free space in the luggage apartment. 5. Every item of luggage and cargo is marked with a sticker having an individual number; a corresponding number of stickers with the same number are attached to the passenger's ticket. According to the stated tariffs the stewardess takes the surcharge for carrying additional luggage and/or cargo. In return the passenger receives a receipt of payment. 6. The price for carrying a non-standard cargo or the cargo with the weight over 50kg/ 110lb or size exceeding 0.25 m3/ / 10cu in is accepted only by preliminary agreement at ECOLINES Head Office in Riga. 7. Carrying the luggage in the luggage department, the operator carries full responsibility only for its entity but is not responsible for its entirety. Thus the passenger’s obligation is to pack the luggage safely and securely, lock and fasten it, protecting it from damage or interference. 8. The crew is entitled to refuse to carry the luggage or cargo if they consider it to be unsuitable for carriage by reason of their weight, size, shape or character. 9. The passengers are not allowed to carry any items that may cause injury or damage to other passengers’ luggage or property. |
