The tourist resort Pattaya, however, sweeps you off your feet with its endless pleasureseeking parties and bashes that go on 24/7 - nightclubs and bars, massage parlours and seafood restaurants, department stores and shopping centres, street trading and markets, beaches, sun and  + 30 degree sea water. The Thais are friendly, polite and cheerful, they will never get tired of smiling and it seems they do not know what stress and haste mean. It may be that the greatest value and attraction are the Thais themselves - their optimism, contentment and balance are infectious.
